About this app
The Solbacka app is your own guide to Solbacka, which is now Solbacka village. With the app, we want to show you how we take advantage of what is good and how we add opportunities for the future by listening to everyone who wants to be involved in the development of the future Solbacka.
In the summer of 2022, Solbacka will be open between 19 June and 14 August from morning to evening. (Even after August 14, you can take part in all the information available about Solbacka.)
In the Solbacka app, you get suggestions for hikes where we tell you about our visions and plans for Solbacka. There is also an opportunity for you to come up with your own ideas and suggestions about what should be on Solbacka. A place, a new village community to visit, live and work in.
This summer there is also a special hike for all children in the app. There is a film archive where you can meet many of those who are involved in developing Solbacka. And you also get to meet students who tell about the time when Solbacka was a boarding school in the area.
With GPS support, you always know where you are in the area. Use the calendar to update yourself on things that are happening in the area every day.
Visit a Solbacka in development. Stop and just breathe or be tempted to run, bike, hike, walk or pick mushrooms. Look out towards one of the two lakes. At Solbacka there is a park environment with an apple grove as well as the forest and adjacent two nature reserves.
Solbacka's two lakes Kyrksjön and Misteln invite you to a life by the water all year round. Here are beautiful environments for cozy walks with farms and nature along the shores of Lake Kyrksjön, but also kayaks, paddleboards and beautiful echoes to borrow for a trip out on the water.
At Solbacka, there is finally a pool and a modern gym. In addition, a lovely lounge, sun deck and sauna in close proximity. Come here and exercise or just have a relaxing time.
We have enlivened Solbacka's playground and renewed it with a little different play equipment for children of all ages so that they can play. Do not forget the app's children's round with 10 stations and tricky challenges for children!
Walk past the animals and wave hello to them! But do not forget that the whole of nature is available and let your imagination flow with the family. Maybe you can find your way up to the old lookout point?
The dogs are also welcome to Solbacka. Down by Kyrksjön we have prepared a small bath for our four-legged friends and there are lots of nice walking distances for you to walk together.
The opportunities for training and movement at Solbacka are many for those who want to and already this summer we are opening a paddle court for outdoor games.
The 18 golf holes meander around in nature between Solbacka and Grytsbergs Säteri. This summer, the golf club has moved its starting point here and once again hole 1 and the Driving range are here on Solbacka. There is golf and walking in the summer, and when the snow settles, there are ski trails and winter fun.
Everyone is welcome to be in the living room upstairs next to the sports hall. Maybe you need to spend a few working hours with good internet on holiday or book a meeting room. Or you just want to read a book in peace and quiet and get away from summer cottage life. Or you can meet your friends for a drink before dinner.
Every day this summer, the restaurant and hotel will be open for sleeping, eating and drinking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take a look at what is offered and book directly through the app.
Together with partners and friends from the area, we have planned for lots of fun in and around Solbacka this summer. From percussion auctions, outdoor cinema and pilgrimages to singing, yoga retreats and golf competitions. Here is something for everyone. See the app's calendar.
