Gotta change my review. After over 3 years of playing and countless dollars sunk into this gane, the new crossover event is a letdown. Overly complicated minigame, and characters stuck behind a paywall. Also, the Ascending Heights minigame rewards need revamping. Too little reward for a tedious, and rather boring game. I literally jump over the portal to skip it, because its just not worth the time.

This is, in my opinion, what mobile games should strive to be like. The gameplay is simple and fun, with an astonishing amount of content for an idle game. In-game purchases do exist, but it's entirely viable to earn everything through gameplay. Ads weren't too intrusive as far as I can remember. I paid to remove them, and haven't regretted it for a second. This game is excellent.

Alright. I loved it at first and have been playing it for years, but the frustrating extra modes are too much. I can't progress any further to buff my guy because I have to do a difficult climbing game, a difficult boss fight, a tedious casino, and now a janky AoT minigame. I'd love to just play it normally and ignore the annoying stuff, but if i do, my progress becomes practically nonexistant. Even purchasing the ad free has not fixed anything. This is no longer a satisfying idle game.
