Dear Diary - The new UI of the app is better. I like the one touch (on/off) instead of having to go into a setting to turn it on. I still think there's more that could be done to make it better. The car is fantastic, but the app doesn't match with it. Also, the digital key no longer work on Pixel 8. Again, I still think they could add more functions. Dear Diary edit - the recent update is very slow at connecting to the car to pull information. Also, digital key still does not work.

Nice minimalistic esthetics with useful features; appropriate for the brand. But, can we add a separated car rental, phone pairing mode to grant some of the convenient app features such as remote locking and unlocking and preheating or cooling, to rental car patrons? Similar to Tesla's/Hertz QR code pairing system... That would make a nice improvement.

This app has way too much potential...after a few years of being developed, I want to give it a higher rating but it has too far to go. There should be way more features by now like the ability to open to any window or the trunk, adjusting climate temp to a specific number, and ability to turn off/on heated seats or steering wheel independent of climate settings. And stop wasting time on updates to parts of the app that no one cares about

What's new

Now you can set your preferred charging limit for your Polestar 2 in the app. Whether you're performing a quick charging action or adjusting detailed settings on the charging page, you have the flexibility to customise and adjust your charging preferences. This new functionality requires car software later than P3.0.

Additionally, the app now supports our newest car models, the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. You can effortlessly connect and control these vehicles using the Polestar app.
