Promerica Pay transforms your smartphone into a means of payment, so you can make your purchases without the need for cash or your physical cards. Now your payments can be mobile payments.

How does it work?

    1. Download the app.
    2. Define a password code.
    3. Register your fingerprint for quick access.
    4. Enter your username and password, the same credentials used in your Online Banking.
    5. Enter in the application the code that we send to your cell phone by text message.
    6. Choose which VISA credit or debit cards you wish to register with your Promerica Pay.
    7. Define your primary card for payments.
    8. Enjoy! Have control of your cards from your mobile device and all the benefits offered by Grupo Promerica.

How do I make my payments?

At the time of payment, tell the person who attends to you that you will pay with your phone. When the POS says so, bring your phone closer and the payment will be made. You will receive a notification on your phone confirming it.

Also, you can access the application and press the “Make Payment” button, to activate your smartphone and bring it closer when the POS indicates it.

Remember that you can make your payments, as long as contactless technology is enabled in the POS with VISA cards, regardless of bank or region of the world.

Some advantages that can be obtained when using Promerica Pay:
    • Manage all your cards on your mobile device and make payments, without having them in your wallet.
    • Make purchases with your mobile device in contactless POS worldwide.
    • Have more control of your finances and visibility of your consumption in real time.

    • Security in your transactions and decrease in rejections due to expiration of your physical cards.

In order to use the application, the following requirements must be met:
    • This application is only available for Android phones, which have an NFC antenna. Check the configuration of your cell phone and its features
    • Available for your VISA debit and credit cards from Banco Promerica Costa Rica, Banco Promerica Guatemala and Banpro Grupo Promerica.

Ratings and reviews

Waste of time. Doesn't pass thru / work, despite of you're using your credentials from on-line banking as required by this app. It needs a lot of development and attention to details at this point. Wouldn't recommend it.

Not working! I cannot set either my card MASTERCARD or VISA.
