It took some reading to set up, but it was really easy. With hardly any extra cost, I'm playing Skyrim VR with a 360 controller, running the stream to my phone through a direct USB connection. I get the sense that a lot of the 1 star reviews are by people without the patience to use the tool as described; that's fair, as this app is available to the general public, and the general public isn't tech savvy. My experience has been better than great

I'm using an LG G6 device connected to my ROG G752VT laptop. Neither are top of the line anymore, but that's just fine. In addition to these two devices, I've connected a LeapMotion to the front of my Google Cardboard device and I'm able to actually use and interact with the virtual world using only my hands. It is simply *amazing*. The free app is limited to 5 or 10 minutes of play time, but for a very reasonable $15 fee you can increase it to unlimited. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to take their first steps into VR. Having said that, the application isn't perfect. You will get disconnects and applications will hang. But these, in my opinion, are minor and easy to overcome compared to what you will experience.

After a few hours of usage, I am beginning to quite like this low-budget VR option. I bought the full package (unlimited play time + GameWarp) and have thus far been able to enjoy Portal 2 and a few other games in what I can only call cinematic mode. For me, that's precisely what I was looking for, but I also think it's important that GameWarp be advertised for what it really is - a cinematic, 2D rendering of non-VR games. Otherwise, the setup is quite easy and intuitive, the only downside being a lack of in-depth documentation online. It took me awhile, but I was finally able to get a clear, uninterrupted stream that suits my needs just fine. I have been told the developers are also helpful and friendly, so that's a plus. Overall, I'd give VRidge a solid 4/5. Decent quality stream and intuitive setup, but needs more info to help users tweak settings. Also GameWarp would be more enjoyable with stereoscopic 3D.

GameWarp can be combined with ReShade for full VR and we should have article available soon explaining how to do it but you can contact support@riftcat.com and they will guide you.
