I've been using the Rockfax App a lot recently whilst working as a mountain guide, and finding it really useful. It's great to have access to a library of clear crag and route topos and descriptions, particularly when visiting or researching new crags and areas I don't have a paper guidebook to, or maybe I have an old guidebook and want to supplement it with some more up to date beta and clearer diagrams. The app works well for me in all respects. Thanks Rockfax!

This is an amazing resource at great value and that's why I have it on my phone. I love also being able to go somewhere and then having the information to go climbing at my fingertips when normally I'd never buy a guidebook for that one visit. But, why can crags and cliffs not be given an OS grid reference to navigate by? It would make life so much simpler than following someone else's subjective route description.

Good price for access to all of rockfax's books, however there are a few weird bugs. Such as other people apps showing different grades for the same route. Also my offline maps never shows location where on other people apps they have that functionality. Also there is a bug where photos don't always show for routes and you have to go back in.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the feedback. With regards to grades, all publishhers evaluate grades differently so there will be some variation from other books. We are actually working on the geolocated maps currently. The photos sometimes not appearing immediatly has now been fixed in our development build. I will push that out this week. Regards, Martin
