It would be nice if we could just select a printer and use the slicer without having to connect to the printer. I have a Creality Wi-Fi box and would love to test out the Simply Print slicer and download the STL before deciding if I want to set up OctoPrint. It would even be great as a mobile-based slicer for those who don't have a connected printer since there is a lack of mobile-based slicers. Please consider this option.

Downloaded. The description is bad . Dose not indicate you need octo print or other, because this wasn't mentioned I assumed USB cable would be applicable. Seems like a information farm as you have to sign up for an account before. You can veiw the app. But I wouldn't know as I didn't create an account to be let down by the fact that it's just a expensive ui.

Hi Ben. I'm sorry that you didn't like our app! We try to be transparent, especially before we ask you to sign up, by actually explaining "why". SimplyPrint is a Cloud platform, and to connect your printer to the cloud, it needs an internet connection - which most don't have by itself. Therefore, a Pi is needed. Hope you find what you're searching!
