PERFECT. Tried the free version first. Just a beginner, and it understood me. Nice! Didn't know at first that I had to check Italian so it knew I wasn't speaking English, but after 10 seconds of confusion this was exactly what I was looking for. Bought this ads free (pro) version. This seems worth it. Took a second to realize I had to install this after purchase and uninstall the free version, but all good. Simple, uncluttered app that does the job.

It may work through voice but this app is very poor when it comes to copying and pasting and then expecting translation; it just sits there and does nothing unless you RE choose one or the other language again. Otherwise it does not Translate. Even then, it does not observe parentheses periods and sometimes numbers and keep the translation going after these like other apps do, but stops. Also seems to be draining my battery life for some reason when I check the battery device care. And refund?

I love this app! My husband and i have been using it in preparation for our trip to Italy. We love that there is a verbal translator on the app and we will definitely be using it on our upcoming trip!
