Ratings and reviews

Could be a good app but has bugs/annoyances. 1. I tried the Fly Forward 20 inches. My Tello barely moved. I switched to metric units and this worked. 2. This is a major annoyance: Upon starting up the app, it is full screen with no Android buttons showing and no Android message bar across the top. So the drone parameters can be read across the top, and also the "Connect to Tello" button. As soon as I touch anywhere, it seems, the buttons and bar come back and the above items disappear.

If it could connect to my Tello Talent it would be an amazing app. I spent hours trying to make the app connect to TT. I watched youtube videos, read instructions, searched for error mistakes but without any result. If you connect first to the Tello's RTM wifi, the app shows an error web page and does nothing. If you first open the app and then try to connect to RTM wifi, the app initializes properly but unable to connect to Tello's wifi. I decided to look elsewhere.

Your odds of winning the lottery are better than your odds of getting a mission to run properly on this app. There are just too many things that have to go right. - You have to be able to connect - You have to be able to stay connected - You have to hope it doesn't randomly drift off in a different direction after takeoff - You have to hope that it doesn't randomly skip blocks of code or freeze on blocks of code - You have to hope that it actually goes the distance that you set it to go
