The app used to be good. Some brainchild decided to change it so restaurants are listed on the map by reviews as opposed to rewards, which is the whole reason you're using the app in the first place. You can sort the restaurants by reward but then you get a list of restaurants across all of NYC as opposed to those in just your neighborhood. The change has just obscured the rewards you receive which is the of purpose of using it in the first place. 🤔

Hi Dan. We're always taking user feedback and trying to improve our product to make discovering restaurants easier. Members expressed wanting to see top rated restaurants and we're currently beta testing this view. Should you want to find restaurants with the highest rewards, we recommend using the 'bolt' tag or sorting by 'highest rewards'.

There's something fishy with this app. They're obviously spending lots of $ on ads and influencer marketing...but their technology doesn't seem to work, like at all. I've tried it 4x now (3 delivery orders and one reservation, which I did just to see if the issue was just with deliveries.) Each time, a fully eligible receipt was not accepted, and I spent 30+ minutes on a chat with their support to ultimately get it approved. Each time they said the receipt didn't initially upload in the system.

Hi Cristina - thanks for providing this feedback. Our team was able to review this issue and found that you were using an unsupported version of the app. We have updated this for members with the same version and should not experience this in the future.

beware they sometimes won't credit you. and unresponsive customer support doesn't help. ive tried both in-app help and text help but both are unresponsive. i still use the app if the restaurant i want to go is listed on this app but my expectations are low and hence a two star. UPDATE: The customer support finally responded and took care of everything. To this date, I have no un-credited spending via Seated with the exception of the one time I did a take-out. They explained that the app is for dine-in only; this should've been an obvious one since the app is called 'seated' so this one is my fault. The other thing to watch out for is when you try to double-book. For example, I have tried to make reservation via Open Seating AND Seated. But the restaurant will see that there are duplicate reservations and will automatically cancel one. If and when you double-book, I would suggest you only do it with restaurants that have walk-in options in Seated. Anyway, updating the review from two stars to four stars. Look forward to receiving more credits with my future Seated reservations.
