The application identifies notes in the range of minor, single-bar and double-bar octaves. In the MIDI directory it is the C3-C6 range. The tuner tolerates quarter-tone deviations from the nominal frequency. Eight notes of one octave are shown on the screen. Octave ranges are set automatically according to the pitch of the note that is currently being played or last played. The current range is shown by the header icon on the right. Two screens can be used to display tones, switched by swiping horizontally:
Basic Screen - Body Scale
The notes are identified by a moving ruler, changing its color according to the pitch reached: notes of the fifth chord are red, other notes are blue, semitones are black. In addition, pitch is shown by hand movements in sign language.
2nd screen - sheet music with notes written in a single-bar octave. A change in scale is recorded by changing the key (tenor, octave).
The colored note markers are also touch buttons (right side) that play the notes of the current range. Sound volume must be adjusted in Settings-Sounds-Media.
The use of a voice tuner in music education is described in the articles of the Music Education series on the pages of the RVP.cz Methodical Portal.
