With a radiotelephony simulator, the app supports you in preparing for the practical parts of the VHF radio certificate exams. The simulator's interface is very simple: you have to put the suggested message fragments in the right order. In this way you learn interactively the structure of emergency, urgency and safety messages, forwarding, confirmations, routine traffic, etc. Each round is different - the identifiers of the radio stations involved, positions, etc. are regenerated each time. The app also includes a simplified DSC simulator. Although this does not offer a true-to-original simulation of the test devices, it gives you a first impression of the handling of modern marine radios.

The ship radio app also helps when preparing for the theoretical exam. The integrated theory trainer contains the questions for the German radio certificates SRC, LRC and UBI (incl. adaptation and supplementary examination). Incorrectly answered questions can be repeated separately and an exam simulation with random questions and a time limit is also possible!

In addition, the app helps with building a vocabulary for communication in Maritime English. A vocabulary trainer is available for this purpose, which includes over 100 seafaring terms. The English Seefunktexte are also included in the app, including translations and the dictation function. Are you still having trouble with your spelling?
