Uniplate is the innovative app developed by the Human Nutrition Unit and the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Parma to promote healthy and sustainable eating habits among the University's students.
At present the app includes a recipe book of simple and nutritionally balanced dishes, easily consultable thanks to a search system that allows you to filter by protein source or keywords. New features will be made available in the future.
Uniplate promotes health and respect for the environment with an approach attentive to the pleasure of good food, making it easier to make informed food choices.
This initiative was born within the ONFOODS project, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU program and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) - Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.3, as specified in Notice no. 341 of 15 March 2022 of the Ministry of University and Research. The project is identified by the code PE00000003 and was formally approved with the Directorial Decree granting the MUR loan n. 1550 of 11 October 2022, with the CUP D93C22000890001. The full title of the project is "ON Foods - Research and innovation network on food and nutrition Sustainability, Safety and Security – Working ON Foods".
