Waterbot is a free app that reminds you to water your houseplants. If you always forget to water flowers at home or office this is the right app for you. Waterbot will help you save many lives. This app will track all your plants and notify you when attention is needed. So never let your flowers die again :)

How to use it:
- Pick a plant in your home
- Capture flower’s avatar with your camera
- Set watering interval – 6 days, for example
- That’s it! You will be notified by Waterbot when your flower needs water again
- Mark plant as “watered” after you watered it
- Now add more plants and have fun watering them

Ratings and reviews

I like the tracker as it keeps me on task. But it's kind of annoying. It capitalizes every word, as if everything is a title, and while that works for titles (plant names), it doesn't work for new houseplant parents who want to overjournal our experiences as we learn what matters and what doesn't. So I spend a really outrageous amount of time uncapitdalizing most words. No settings option to alter this. I wouldn't start again with this app.

Sorta convenient, but with BIG flaws. I have ~20 plants. sometimes, several will show as 'ready to be watered', but aren't actually dry. so I don't want to check them off. it's impossible to only check off some of the plants to mark as 'watered'. I'll go down the list and uncheck the ones I haven't watered yet. but when I scroll up, they're magically checked back in. this makes it impossible to actually track which plants have and have not been watered. so the app is useless.

I love this app! It takes the guesswork out of when my plants need to be watered and/or fertilized. If you have multiple houseplants and outdoor plants with different needs you can easily get overwhelmed and forget from time to time when you last watered them. Sometimes it can be glitchy when selecting multiple plants so I just have to be careful to select one plant at a time in the app.
