Proper distribution and time allocation of water to a particular set of farmers for irrigation is a process that consumes human resources and time. Many complex calculations are done in this process, due to which the possibility of human error during calculations remains maximum. On my initiative, a digital Barabandi system is being built in this district for proper distribution of irrigation water and to accurately calculate the time allocation for distribution of irrigation water according to the area for each farmer. This will not only bring transparency in the process of Barabandi and save human resources and time but will also reduce the disputes related to irrigation water from farmers and the complaints received by this office and the department.
