A good selection of material but an app better suited to an 80s mentality. There are 880,000+ people affected by hearing loss in New Zealand, yet the App lacks inclusive on-demand subtitles/ closed captions. The lack of response from Sky management to provide this functionality deprives close to a fifth of New Zealanders from what Neon has to offer. I'd give Sky a 0 on commitment to embracing inclusivity if this was an option. A 2.4 app rating indicates you have a problem, right?

Terrible app. There are free streaming apps that are more reliable. The app doesn't resume episodes properly and will usually just start the episode all over again when casting. When casting, I can't even lock my phone as when I do, the cast will end. Casting also will just glitch out randomly and also is very slow to resume the show after pausing, with the audio playing before you can see the show again. Everytime the app fails these basic expectations, it plays you ads again.

Terrible experience. First, the viewing quality of the show was terrible (same show on Prime in HD was like night and day). The app is clunky, both on smart TV and mobile. Then 5 days after we subscribed only to watch L.O.T.R., they took it down (had to pay more to watch it). When we asked for a refund, they said Neon doesn't pay refunds for any reason, even with cause. I don't recommend this service at all. There are so many better options, with better moview selection and viewing quality.
