Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other's imagination and vocabulary.

The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution - old school Scandinavian style - into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle.

You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of outscoring your opponent, including a significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round.

Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher.

Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with other classic word games.

But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other passtime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, and vocabulary training in a game.

And with the chat function you can keep in touch with your favorite aunt at the same time as teasing your best friend for being the slowest player in the known Universe.

I enjoy the game but have never been able to successfully connect with an opponent on Expert. Game sometimes stalls on ads or entering quick play but closing out and going back seems to do the trick and I've never lost my game progress as a result. I'd consider the paid version if it were less expensive. Subscription cost just doesn't align with the added benefits, especially since it isn't unlimited play.

i like the game. I have a challenger that I've been playing against for over a year now. what I can't stand are the glitches and freezing and there are times that I'll select letters to complete a word and the game will act as though they are incorrect and then next go round my challenger will put in those same letters and then all of a sudden it's correct. if I didn't have the challenger I play against, I would like the game a lot less.

This game was fun. It freezes quite a bit. Now it won't let me play. Will you fix this game please. I enjoy playing this game but really can't play due to: The game freezes a lot. It doesn't move the letters when you try. I have to restart my phone a lot because it doesn't always show faces. It won't let me play until faces appear. It kicks me out a lot.
