Easy Alerts are available for mobile personal banking accounts on eligible devices in which you have the Bankwest App installed and notifications enabled. Limited alerts only are available for credit products.

*Account opening time is for existing customers only opening a Bankwest Easy Transaction account

****We protect you from losses due to unauthorised transactions on personal and business accounts when you have complied with our terms and conditions, and neither you nor any authorised user on your behalf have contributed to the loss.

This means that if you do have a loss resulting from an unauthorised transaction in Bankwest Online Banking (including the Bankwest App), and have taken the necessary steps to stay safe online (by complying with our terms and conditions, and neither you nor an authorised user has contributed to the loss), we will reimburse you the full amount of any funds lost.

Slow app. Don't download. I regularly get the spinning wheel of death when changing between screens and sometimes it's quicker just to go back out of the app close it come back in and then pick the original screen that I wanted rather than waiting for the change. I tried opening an account via the app and found it to be unhelpful so ended up having to go online and do it anyway. That kind of defeats the purpose of the app in the first place.

Useless app. Pending transactions are not correct then, available Bal is misleading. Says there is $ to spend then days old transaction not included as a pending transaction in the available balance, comes through. Then charged fee for neg Bal. Left bank west years ago because of this problem. Thought it would be fixed by now. Nope. Time to close accounts, they can't get a basic thing like available balance right. Never had an issue like this with any other financial institution. Pathetic!

We have removed dishonour/honour fees on our accounts, so you should not be charged a fee for this. Really easy to use. Does everything you need to do, keeps me informed of payments and account balances. Update 2024 - now that Bankwest is becoming fully digital, it is now time to add further functionality to the app, such as, 2 Factor Authentication. 2FA is now a common security in many financial institutions apps, but Bankwest does not yet have this.
