About this app

Hikoo automatically creates hiking loops according to your preferences on marked hiking trails in Switzerland.

You can specify a starting point, duration, difficulty and the type of terrain desired (asphalt or natural). Hikoo will then offer you one or more loops with their characteristics (profile, elevation, walking time, nature of the terrain).

Hikoo will allow you to see your progress throughout the course. Either on the detailed map, through a percentage of completion or by your position on the profile of the course.

Hikoo will also alert you in case of an error at a fork if you stray too far from the planned route (vibration or ringing)

A form will allow walkers to report to Switzerland Rando a possible problem on the pedestrian network (damaged sign, works, bypass).

Application available in French, German, English, Italian, Portuguese.

Hikoo integrates the paths of the cantons of Jura, Friborg, Neuchâtel, Vaud and Berne. (if your region is not covered, send an email to [e-mail] if interested)
