This has been one of my favorite apps since the pandemic. Unfortunately it is not being appropriately supported on their own end to work with Bluetooth devices. As a mobile video messaging app that seems like a glaring misstep making it highly useless. After getting a new phone and troubleshooting through the phone and the earbuds I finally received an email back from Marco Polo saying that the app isn't Bluetooth optimized and they can't fix any user issues.

Editing my review. Now, just about every single thing that used to be free is behind a paywall. You can't take notes, which used to be free to do. Send text, which used to be free. And limited to just sending polos, and you're stuck listening to them within the app since you can no longer multitask for free either. Overall, it's a decent app, but to really get the bulk of features, you have to subscribe.

4 stars because I don't think anything else like this exists, but the app could use some work. You can't watch videos out of order or all previous videos will be marked watched. I think this also explains why my family didn't get my videos when I was out of service for a while. If there was a video in the group with a newer timestamp, mine *came in* already marked as watched. Not fun.
