It took awhile to get the fan to connect to my wifi, but once it did, it worked great! So don't give up trying to connect the fan to your wifi, it just takes awhile to sync. But the fan works great with the app, I can do everything with the app that I can do as if I was standing in front of it. Except take it in and out of the window or clean the unit. I give it 5 stars even though it was tough to sync with my wifi.

Really like this Window fan. Everything about it iS AWESOME, well, except for ONE - the WI-FI. No matter what I try it won't connect. My router & speed are top-notch.. Heck, it'll pick up satellites.. LoL but NOT the Aspen window fan.. Anyhow, it's not a deal breaker as I don't need it. Do i recommend it? Of course, heck a fan that is this easy to take apart & clean can't be that bad.. 😏

Want to give it 4* but deleted it after I saw the format is same as SmartLife app, which I use for all my one-off devices from random brands (China). Set up is same on both apps... But unrelated to app, it's that this fan will wig out & completely power off & won't power on or connect like it's in standby (the fuse is fine!), but both the Aspen & Dreo (tower fan) remotes actually (poorly) operate both devices (Cheap Chinese quality?) Window fan randomly dies & there's no fix or Support!
