Ratings and reviews

Connection speed can be slow, and it occasionally doesn't work, but it's by far the most reliable VPN I've used in China. The alternatives always stopped working for many days at a time every time there were some political events going on even if they are of no consequence.

So expensive yet the app is HORRIBLE. Connection issues, downtime, and IPs that are in China instead of the listed location. VPN silently fails and needs manual disconnect+reconnect and you don't know it until you realize you haven't gotten messages in a long time. Consistent wireguard only works with a third-party app and manual setup. Tried on multiple devices in China and the US.

Inconsistent connection. Especially from China , most servers won't connect. Been a user for over 6 years, used to be the best but now it's on par with free software. Most recent update chews through 30%-40% of my mobile battery in a morning, regardless of settings and android battery optimization. There are better options (but not ExpressVPN, that's the absolute worst!)
