There is a new world of issues involved in the culture of dating apps. No app has given me more misery than this one, that's not necessarily the apps fault, but the people that are on it. I have been on Catholic Match paying a subscription for three years and I regret it all. I've wondered if the accounts on this app are even real or if there are just a lot of "filler" profiles. When I do get a match at some point I'll get notified "Ella has decided not to recieve messages from you".

Pretty terrible, over the years they got rid of chat feature, forums, online indicator, message view indicator allowing other person to turn it off so you have no idea if your message made it to them. All they replaced it with is a video chat speed date that doesn't have any events. Response to their post: community stuff is nice, a date is better which is almost impossible to get when you don't know if their profile is inactive or not getting your messages.

The app does not flow as well as the website and there are less options. It's decent for searching and messaging, but overall I prefer the website. With that, it had been over a year since I used it last and there are accounts exactly the same as before but were still "active within 24 hours", I'm a little concerned about fake accounts.
