Impulse is an Artificial Intelligence app for Smart Watch and/or Android devices designed to create a voice rhythm for people with dysphemia or stuttering. Through an algorithm based on Natural Language Processing, it decodes and translates words into rhythmic beat vibrations, offering users a haptic assistant on their wrist that synchronises what the brain thinks and the mouth says.
This speech therapy digital tool is inspired by the proven rhythm therapy. A technique that uses an analog metronome to create a subconscious beat in the brain that stimulates and improves linguistic fluency through its multiple functions:
Speech assistance: Helps users communicate naturally in their day-to-day lives. It strengthens and boosts the voice by digitizing rhythmic patterns through the watch's vibrometer. This feature allows to adjust the speed and intensity of vibrations, providing confidence and autonomy regardless of language.
The speech coach*: Takes users by the hand to help them practice their own speaking. Just load a text into the app and its advanced AI algorithm decodes language into syllables to create a beat structure adapted to each profile's level of ability, tone and style.
The rhythm and tone exercises*: Train users' language skills outside of the practice. It features a program of exercises designed by specialists to assess performance. This gradually helps users through various levels of complexity each, strengthening their communication with confidence and clarity.
Impulse is endorsed by the Asociación de Logopedas de España and the Sociedade Portuguesa de Terapia da Fala. Also, it has been tested by patients from multiple causes and developed by speech therapists in Spain, Portugal, USA, Ghana and UAE.
