Chivo Wallet is the official Bitcoin and Dollar wallet of the Government of El Salvador. Chivo Wallet allows you to send and receive Bitcoin and / or Dollar between Salvadorans without commission, in the same way it allows users to exchange Bitcoin for Dollar or vice versa without commission. Additionally Chivo is compatible with other Bitcoin on-chain and Lightning wallets. Finally, Chivo connects with the banking system of El Salvador to deposit or withdraw dollars from the platform, and with a network of Chivo ATMs to deposit and withdraw dollars in cash. Chivo has a company version that allows you to charge, assign payment terminals for employees, and pay taxes quickly and easily.

It takes around a minute to do the transaction from BTC to dollars or vice-versa! Also when I try to buy BTC and if it is wrong for one number or it was updated before I buy, then I have to wait 3 minutes for nothing. I liked it better when the app was launched, it was so smooth and now it is the opposite!

Has potential to be a ģreat app but first version is buggy, does not always work when making transactions and they need to implement the top-notch security features and customer service of other financial apps. Have heard of many people clicking on fake support sites and getting account hacked. When you register, they make you take photo, yet they do not use face recognition software to protect clients when resetting passwords. Hope they quickly fix issues because easy to use and has no fees!

If you download the Chivo Wallet App. DON'T LOG OUT "cerrar sesión" Or you'll regret it. No matter how hard or how long you try, it won't let you log right back in. I downloaded the app and "viola" worked perfectly, even granted me the Welcome bonus of 30 USD. I know is the first version of the app, but if you log out, you should be able to log right back in, on an as needed basis. The one star rating is not a rant of mine. But Developers need to improve their app big time.
