Filmbib is a distribution portal for procurement scheme for short films and documentaries.
The scheme is administered by the Norwegian Film Institute commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and is created to provide a Norwegian public access to Norwegian shorts and documentaries via the library.
An independent selection considering which films included in the scheme.
The selection is based on nominations from the Norwegian Film Association, Norwegian film, television and games Producers Association, Norwegian Writers' Guild and Norwegian Film Directors. The committee appointed for two-year terms.
Free access to Filmbib get through Norwegian public libraries and national library card.
