Best one that I tried yet. This app can open an invalid json, which is perfect for my need. Thanks for the developer. Edit: Why the latest update make me unable to open .json files? The .json files are greyed out and cannot be clicked, but .txt files can. Saving new files also automatically make the file extension as .txt instead of .json. What happened?

Decent but has a tendency to add additional characters when you save, and not let you save a file with them deleted. Also, can't type in manually because it keeps jumping to the top of the file whenever you try to type.

File apps do not recognize this app for "Open with" operation on .json files. Update 13 Aug 2022: looking forward to trying again when this feature is added
