Then get on the smartphone at a station via the VIRTULLEUM app when you're in Tulln. Or you playfully decide the fate of the dice. These stand for the idea of chance and recount the inspiring history of Tulln city: on the basis of 30 selected locations and 30 objects from 5 historical epochs, for example by means of a Roman trowel or an early medieval garment clasp.
The individual tour cleverly links the virtual with the real world. By means of a city map based on GPS, the visitors of the VIRTULLEUMS are guided to 5 out of a total of 30 historically important places in the city. On site, the respective stations are numbered and marked.
The VIRTULLEUM was funded by the Province of Lower Austria, Lower Austrian Urban Renewal and the European Union (LEADER).
