I created "Out of the Dark" to be a game about finding light in the small things... like flowers. Discover flowers, merge, collect resources and illuminate the world to push back the darkness as you explore the world and expand your garden!

This is a simple casual merge and puzzle game about flowers. It's designed with idle components meant to be played at a slow, relaxing pace. Even play offline without wifi! There are NO forced ads! It's a little bit different than you're used to... I'm curious to know what you think!

I love this little game. It became my obsession quickly... And my way to get through some stuff mentally. My only wish, dear developer, is that you don't let this end and you keep adding more progression! I've reached the end of the merge trees and research trees. There's always resetting, but the vast difference in pacing is jarring. I hope to keep playing for a long time!

Update: The game is no longer requesting you earn gems to complete research progress. I'm really enjoying the new update. Research feels more rewarding but still zen. I'm on the fence. The game has been fun, but the new update forces you to watch ads to complete game goals. I still watched ads when they weren't forced. I hope they don't continue down this path or I won't be playing anymore. I don't mind ads when I choose to watch them.

As described, it is slow paced but interesting. I garden only a little IRL but still enjoy this app, meaning, it's not over the top. Some things, like "capacity" are still a mystery and while there may be hints or explanations, those are pretty well hidden. After some time with various windows, things are finally coming together. So, be patient, look around, think about what the screen displays. Also, the Toad is your friend, visit often to identify seeds in your backpack.
