Wali is an Indonesian Malay pop music group domiciled in Ciputat, South Tangerang. This music group was formed in 1999. There are 4 members, namely Faank (vocals), Apoy (guitar), Tomi (drums) and Ovie (keyboards). The 4 band members are Islamic boarding school graduates and some are alumni of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta. Previously, the guitarist, Apoy, was the additional guitarist for the music group Netral on the album Oke Deh (2001).

Their first album was Orang Bilang which was released in 2008. This band generally has a totally creative local pop genre with a slight touch of Malay rhythms in their songs. The hit songs on this album are Dik and Egokah Aku which use Shireen Sungkar as the video clip model. The song Dik, which is a mainstay that includes elements of love pop, was recorded as successfully becoming an RBT (ring back tone) for 1 million cell phone owners until mid-May 2008. This became a barometer of the success of the group consisting of 5 men.
