Ratings and reviews

Browser appears to have been converted to a Firefox Quantum skinned variant. Good that you can now install add-ons. But too many critical features were removed; no more Exit button that clears everything, searches against bookmarks with no way to disable, a bunch of unnecessary fluff on the start screen, and performance isn't there anymore. It also opts you into Human Web even if you'd opted out in the old version. It's the end of an era. Yet another awesome app, ruined.

Basically a reskinned version of firefox but with built in ad blocking and privacy protection. I don't like Firefox's new tab UI and this uses the same one, but other than that, it's a good looking and functioning browser. PROBLEMS: if you're a developer reading this, there is one issue I've noticed on both the mobile version and the beta desktop version: Pages with downloads sometimes won't download no matter how many times you press the download button. Google drive, etc.

I've been using this browser for years and had given this a 5 star review, but those days are over. The other reviews are 100% correct, the Sept update turned an awesome lightweight browser that ran great on my 2 year midgrade phone to an useable experience. Pages load extremely slow to the point it's unusable. Stock chrome is way faster. Firefox is faster too at this point. Don't bother using this at this point unless the developers do a major overhaul.
