About this game

Julius is a fully working open-source version of Caesar 3, now available on Android.

Julius will not run without the original Caesar 3 files. You can buy a digital copy from GOG or Steam, or you can use an original CD-ROM version.

Govern your own Roman city:

Julius brings all the looks and feels of the original Caesar 3! ...and even offers some neat extra functionality (range displays for reservoirs etc.) for those that desire some more QoL. The dedication of the devs to make it possible to play C3 not only in 4k on PC, but also on Android (and a lot of other platforms) is both amazing and inspiring for me as a programmer. Thank you for making this!

Surprisingly good. I played c3 when it originally came out and this app does a great job off letting me play it on my phone. I would give it 5/5 if there was some way to enable me to use keyboard shortcuts like maybe assigning the back button to the on screen keyboard or using a menu option to enable it. A pinch function to enable zooming would be so good as well. Definitely recommend to any Caesar fans.

Exceptional! Absolutely exceptional work on this port. I cannot even begin to express how long I have waited for something like this. The Impressions Games; Caesar, Pharaoh, Zeus, & Emperor are truly the best city-building games I have ever played. This port is beautiful and runs flawlessly on my device. Please, please, develop similar ports for those other wonderful games. I, and I'm certain many others, would gladly donate to such a cause. Keep up the good work!
