Ratings and reviews

I've been using this as my one & only video editing app since 2022 5 Stars! It was great. BUT the last updates however have really messed it up. I can't edit successfully at all. It does the automatic edits with blank spaces- black screens/ in between or during transitions. When the speed mode is used the video becomes choppy, like a set of photos. It crashes consistently. Please please please fix this. I have the paid subscription and haven't been able to use it for weeks. (Will update review)

A few years ago, I would've given 5 stars. But it's just a shame how far the quality seems to have dropped. Everything about the app is unbearably slow. You want to view a 30 second video from the cloud? That'll be 2 minutes worth of 1 frame every 2 seconds. Making any edits or even simply playing back a small snipit of an edit will take a long time to load, and let's not forget to mention how choppy it will be. Exporting is a pain. There's much more to say but such few space in Google reviews.

If it's not 1 bug, it's another. Constant issues with the app. Freezing. Features disappearing while editing. Option to save after editing disappears sporadically. For a company as established as GoPro, they should not have these constant bugs on their app that we pay to use. Currently, I am editing a video, and would like the 'my edit' slide removed. But the app freezes as soon as you click it. One of my favorite and most simple video editing apps, and it's become almost useless.
