About this app

Braille Reader & Writer uses vibrations of the phone to allow visually impaired people to read ebooks. After a txt file is chosen from the Input Screen, the user can navigate to horizontal or vertical screens to read the text. The process of reading happens letter by letter The user slides his finger and the dots that vibrate form the braille letter. After going through all of the 6 dots, the next letter is displayed. If a user misses a letter by double tapping on the dot bottom right, it goes back.
We also provide a smart keyboard that uses smart algorithms to translate braille dots as input into words. If the user wants to type a word he presses relative to his senses the dots of each letter (in braille) and than double clicks on the left side keyboard. The algorithm understands his input and outputs a word into the text box. The order in which the dots of each letter are typed doesn't matter. By double clicking on the right side you delete the current dots (which haven't transformed into a word) or if you haven't entered dots it deletes the last word.
The app supports for both features currently English & Bulgarian.
