This may be of interest to market research interviewers and others who use their cell phones for work from home now & make calls through a remote auto dialer for hours at a time. I had very frustrating experiences every shift from day one until about a week ago: My screen display turns off and locks up by default during calls after a few seconds after connecting to the dialer unless I am constantly tapping the screen. This means if my phone is on mute between calls (as has been my habit as part of best practices for over five years), there is often a delay after connecting with someone as I frantically try to unlock my phone. I searched for weeks for a Display, Security, Battery Saving, Advanced, or any other kind of setting somewhere in my phone's operating system that could disable or lengthen this display "timeout." For example, I set the Screen Timeout in my Display settings to 30 minutes - but apparently this applies to everything except for making telephone calls. I even ordered a small device online that was designed to be used with gamers' headsets that had a mute switch and volume slider - but this just doesn't work for making phone calls, & is nothing like the black button toggle-switch Plantronics boxes we had in field. With "Don't Sleep!", no more angry tapping frenzies. Just after signing in for work, I open the app, specify how many hours my shift will be (accounting for how many minutes are remaining until my shift starts), and close the app. A notification tells me what time it will deactivate itself. Now I just need to get out of the habit of tapping a random spot on my screen every few seconds to keep the display awake.

Useful app! It works & will keep your phone awake. It looks good and is easy to use. Adding it to Quick Settings tile makes using this a breeze; I just wish that instead of a fixed time, I can press the Quick Settings Tile to incrementally add something like 5 minutes to keep my phone awake. Still, it's a great app and thanks to the developer for making this.

This app has been a life saver. As a baker reading new recipes, it is annoying to notice my screen has timed out when I have flour all over my hands and this app has rescued me from that. It is also nice to be able to keep my son's school bus monitor app active while I work so I can just look down at it while I work without having to worry about missing an update while unlocking it.
