About this app

LeaveWeb Mobile will provide USAF with a user-friendly way to submit and review active duty Air and Space Force military leave requests utilizing Okta Authentication. Okta for USAF is a purpose-built Identity platform for the DoD and its mission partners. Okta’s achievement of an Impact Level 4 (IL4) conditional Provisional Authorization (PA) provides a next-generation security architecture that centralizes and secures access to mission-relevant resources for approved users – anywhere, anytime.

The LeaveWeb Mobile App provides the following features:

The leave member can submit leave for themselves, but there is no ability to submit leave on behalf of another in mobile.

Leave submittal through return on leave types A, R&R, D, F, P, and T with upload ability. Approve Leave Inboxes and Authorize Leave Inboxes will be included.
Note: All attachments included will have to be viewed and downloaded
from the website, including the AF988s.

Simple profile information will be included along with ALL Open Leaves and 2 years of Leave History (2 years past from current date) with the ability to Copy Request.
Note: Leave can only be submitted 2 years in the past and 2 years in
advance from current date in mobile. If there is a need to submit leaves
outside this window, they will need to be submitted in the website.

Inactivated leave types E and H can continue through approvals on mobile but are not submittable since they have been inactivated.
T type leave and Rule 51 can continue through the approvals on mobile but cannot be created in mobile due to one-time allowance in a member’s career and up to 14 days. This checking control is only maintained in the website.
R type leave can continue through the approvals on mobile but cannot be created in mobile since there is no ability to submit leave on behalf of another.
Types B, M and Y will be trackable but no ability to work them in mobile as these types are managed by AFFSC/Base FM.
Copy Request and Edit Request will not be available for these leave types (E, H, R, B, M, Y and T/Rule51) in mobile.

Any actions taken in mobile will have (-mobile) appended on the action and able to track within the website.

There is no reporting, Leave Audits or administrative pieces in mobile.

If you get a new phone, and you don't transfer okta verify account, you'll never be able to login. You need okta verify set up on your phone to log in and set up okta verify on your phone. Meaning you can never use that app or log in to leaveweb again.

Good idea in theory but there should be no reason you have to connect your cac card to your phone, complete oversite. All that had to be done was input the verification code sent to your military email and have that be the end of it. Perfect embodyment of military apps

It opens chrome, and then I can't sign in without access to my AF email address which is not on most people's phones. Then it proceeds to ask me for a certificate once I am at work in front of my email trying to see if I can get this to work. (I'm not buying a smart card reader for my cell phone). I feel like this was a waste of time to try
