Directly start a conversation with someone in WhatsApp without saving their phone number to your phone’s contact list.
To get started, open the Direct Chat dialog and simply enter a phone number then tap on “Continue on WhatsApp” button. A WhatsApp chat window will be opened with the specified phone number – provided that the phone number is already linked to an active WhatsApp account.
Recently used phone number are cached locally on your device. These records can be viewed in Recents list and allows you to quickly re-open WhatsApp chat or call the phone number. You can also set a label for each phone number. This is very useful to avoid saving unnecessary contacts to your phone. No more “Unknown 1”, “Customer 1”, etc. in your contact list.
