I have 4 Teckin Clicks set up throughout my house. I bought these because they were cheap......and that's exactly what they are -- cheap pieces of junk. They always seem to have issues, but it's never one at a time, it's always all 4 of them. I've had to reformat the SD cards for all of them all at one time before, and now they all miraculously stopped detecting motion; not just one of them, ALL FOUR OF THEM. Save yourself the headache and spend a little money and buy better products.

Don't waste your time trying to set up smart plugs with this app. It will fail in both the "easy" and AP modes. I wasted my time trying to use this. Used another company's app (Gosund) and the plugs connected right up and worked. I suspect all of these plugs from "different manufacturers" run on basically the same hardware and software so it doesn't matter which app you use to set it up. Has the upside of having to connect less services to your smart home and less accounts to worry about.

I just bought a pack of 4 Teckin smart-plugs on Amazon. I had downloaded the smart life app as per the instructions. I could not get it to work right to turn my plugs on or off using scheduling. I downloaded the Teckin app and was up and running in no time at all! It took me a minute to realize I needed an entry for each action on scheduling, but once I got that figured out it was great.
