The app also contains stories from regional weekly publications including the Advertiser Democrat, Bethel Citizen, Franklin Journal, Livermore Falls Advertiser, Penobscot Times, Rangeley Highlander, and Rumford Falls Times.

Readers may also find articles from daily newspaper partners the Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal of Augusta, Morning Sentinel of Waterville, Times Record of Brunswick and Journal Tribune of Biddeford.

Ratings and reviews

Not a fan. It's full of ads even for paid subscribers and when you load an article, it loads only the first paragraph or so, then pauses with an ad where the rest of the article should be. Sometimes it can take a couple of minutes to load the rest of the article if it loads at all. Hate that subscribers get the ads but if you're going to serve them up, make sure it doesn't interfere with the operation of the app.

Excellent application, works great.
