Was great to monitor temp and humidity levels, as well as getting notifications when a smoke or CO2 alarm went off in my home while away. I don't host my place to others so the noise monitoring feature was no use for me, now can't use the thing without buying an expensive fee each month. limits your market now as why should the average homeowner need to buy this thing! Its going to the garbage as I don't want to pay the expensive monthly fee they recently added to this Minut monitoring unit

Old device not working with new software. Support reply: "We don't give support if warranty has expired" Don't waste your money. Edit: 2024 Still the same. Old models are paperweight. This is why we need open source so we dont waste resources. I have 2 units fully working, but as software is not supported I cannot use it.

Would ideally like to be able to set a threshold below 60dB, this would be more realistic in my case. Overall with the research I done the Device is definitely doing what's expected of it, I was very skeptical of how reliable it would be, it is slightly slow to pick up on events, but is not the worst by any means, even in situations where there can be all sorts of activity, and brief pauses it can be sharp enough, would like to be able to set any dB level threshold though.
