About this app

Alhamdulillah, thanks be to Allah S.W.T, finally we PonPon Media have successfully completed the application Ramadan and Sunnah Fasting Intentions Muslims are certainly no stranger to fasting. In addition to obligatory fasting, in the teachings of Islam there are also several sunnah fasting. The reading of the intention of fasting and its meaning is also different in each of these fasts.

Compulsory fasting and sunnah have their respective privileges. Even so, fasting is able to bring good to those who do it. Muslims and Muslim women are familiar with various types of fasting. Starting from fasting Ramadan, Qadha Ramadan, Monday Thursday, Rajab, Shawwal to fasting ahead of Eid al-Adha. One of the pillars of obligatory fasting or sunnah is intention.

Without intention, fasting is invalid. By intending to fast, we can strengthen our hearts and minds to be ready to face tomorrow's fasting day while carrying out daily activities. The role of intention during fasting is very large because every practice is judged based on its intention. This is in accordance with the words of the Messenger of Allah narrated by Abu Hafsh 'Umar bin Al-Khattab radhiyallahu 'anhu, that the Apostle said:

"Indeed, every deed depends on his intention. Everyone will get what he intended. Whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, then his hijrah was for Allah and His Messenger. Whoever emigrated for seeking the world or because of the woman he married , then his emigration is to the one he goes to." (HR. Muslim, No. 1907)

So what is the intention of fasting and its meaning in each of these fasts? In the application Ramadan And Sunnah Fasting Intentions there is a collection of lafadz reading intentions for Ramadan fasting and sunnah fasting complete with Arabic, Latin and translations of their meanings.
