Random Reminder App allows you to create custom push notifications that will be sent to you at random times of the day.


- Write as many reminders as you want, and whatever you write shows up in your push notifications

- Choose how many random reminders notifications you want to get per day

- Customize when you'll get reminders throughout the day (so that you don't receive notifications when you're sleeping)

- Choose which days of the week you'd like to get notifications

Ratings and reviews

Does what it says, except it doesn't respect its own settings for notification times. For example, you can set it to send notifications between 8am and 10pm, but it will send you notifications outside of those hours. Because of this defect and the disturbances it caused me, I uninstalled. It can't be that hard to make an app that has one job. And don't copy paste your "Thanks, we'll look into it!" reply that is fake customer service garbage. Just fix it.

I definitely see this app being useful, but the recurrence options for reminders are anywhere between daily to once a week. So things I need to do frequently, this app is a great solution. It's a very minimalist interface and very easy to create new items. My current issue I'm trying to solve is that I need to be able to set a longer range for the reminder to kick off (between 2 weeks to 6 or 8 weeks). And I'm not seeing a way that that can be accomplished.

Finally I found a decent "random reminder" app that includes the ability to create my own text, (not 5000 miscellaneous quotes that were written by other people). I can easily set which days of the week, how many reminders per day, and what time to begin and stop the reminders for each day. Excellent! Next major improvement for me? Each reminder would have its own repeat settings. Less critical, but still important improvement? Ability to assign my phone's other notification sounds. 👍THANKS!
