About this app

"Probashi Flight" is an illustrated travel guide for Bangladeshi migrant workers flying abroad for the first time. Every step from entering the airport to reaching your destination is explained with pictures and plain language, plus today's taka rate, baggage rules and emergency numbers.

💱 TODAY'S TAKA RATE (LIVE)
The rate is what probashi families check most. Live rates for 20 currencies:
• Saudi Riyal (SAR) — the taka rate Saudi probashi workers look for
• UAE Dirham (AED) — Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
• Qatari Riyal (QAR), Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), Omani Rial (OMR), Bahraini Dinar
• Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Brunei Dollar
• US Dollar (USD), Pound (GBP) and Euro (EUR)
Saudi riyal rate, Dubai dirham rate, Qatar and Kuwait rates or the Malaysian ringgit rate — all in one place. A converter shows how much taka reaches home for what you send. With no internet you still see the last known rate, clearly marked "offline" — an old rate is never passed off as a new one.

🛫 ILLUSTRATED AIRPORT GUIDE
Step-by-step directions for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka (DAC) and the main Middle East airports — check-in counter, baggage drop, BMET verification, immigration and boarding. Every step has a picture, so it is clear even if you cannot read English. You can also listen using your phone's voice (Text-to-Speech) at three speeds, if a Bangla voice is installed.

✅ PRE-DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
Passport validity, BMET smart card, visa copy, GAMCA medical certificate, employment contract, printed ticket and packed luggage — seven steps. The home screen shows what is still left, plus what to keep ready to avoid being offloaded, and the questions immigration officers usually ask.

🎫 BOARDING PASS SCANNER AND HOW TO CHECK A TICKET PROPERLY
Scan the 2D barcode on your boarding pass to read what is printed in it — passenger name, PNR, seat and route.
Unsure about a ticket an agent gave you? Remember: no app can tell you a ticket is genuine, only the airline can. The app shows you step by step how to check your PNR on the airline's own website, and where to confirm a recruiting agency is licensed.

💺 ON BOARD AND IN TRANSIT

📶 WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
The guide, checklist, baggage rules and embassy numbers work offline. Only the currency rate, weather and news updates need a connection.

🔍 WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
Said plainly: this app does not do live flight tracking, does not show gate or terminal numbers, does not show flight schedules or fares, does not book tickets, and cannot verify whether a ticket is genuine. For those, check the airport display boards or your airline's own app — the app says so inside too. We do not show what we cannot be sure of.

🔐 YOUR INFORMATION
This app does not collect or store your passport, visa or any document. Your checklist and settings stay on your phone. Anonymous usage statistics are collected through Google Firebase, and a device token is used to deliver notifications. Details are in the Data safety section.
