Ratings and reviews

Fun at first, but you play less as you go... It starts out great, but as you go everything takes 8 hours to TWO IRL WEEKS to upgrade. You just check in to set a few things to upgrade, maybe do a PvP battle or two, then can't do much until the next upgrade in several hours. Unless you want to pay to speed it up, of course. 🙄 But the timers (and speed up cost) will always increase and you'll just have to spend more to play more. Another pay treadmill catering to whales.

I played this game for a while, then took a break for a couple years. I came back hoping for some really good updates, but they had not added anything to the core gameplay loop. Overall, the games rewards were terrible and the monthly tournament is structured terribly. There are some positives, which is the AI functions and the community is really great.

Unacceptable. The progression wall hits hard early on and very suddenly, to the point where you need 5 or more elite crew two steps out the door. The game just about entirely plays itself, the player doing the minute job of tapping and dragging every now and then. Heavily payment pressed, with achievements unbalanced for the point in the game you get them. That's not even mentioning the game questline, wherein you go from fighting unshielded ships with one weapon to shielded ships with several.
