This app, while it does help expose you to questions, is absolutely terrible with grammatical errors and questions that are not specific enough to make it worth the money. one question is asking for what the compressor does but gives superheat values and such. be more specific, the RSES or ACCA books have much better questions. Update: I Passed core and Air to Air Heat Pump Service. First Try(8 months into the trade). this app isn't needed and will probably misguide you more than anything.

poor questions, bad logic, not educated. e.g. asks what the name of the heat transfer is, which is happening in gases and liquids? Obviously, we know the convection is not happening in solids, but the person who designed this question doesn't understand that all radiation, conduction, & convection modes are also happening in fluids. I tried a few more of the questions, on report problem, I gave them thumb down 👎 for improvement, & explained the issues to them, but this app was not a keeper.

We’re sorry to hear the questions didn’t meet your expectations. Our goal is to create helpful practice content, but we understand that some questions may need better clarity or refinement. We appreciate you using the "Report a Problem" feature to share specific. Your input is valuable.

This is an app to assist HVAC techs in passing the NATE cert test. The app has many positives and many negatives, but the app is overall useful and well-designed. It's credibility for accurate information, though, is very controversial at best and needs to be fact checked thoroughly. Other primary flaw is that it doesn't separate relevant information. A design that isolates test modules (heat pump, gas furnace, core, etc.) would really help to avoid confusion about a question's subject type.
