Yes, the game says it "contains ads." No, it doesn't mean those nasty video popups. It's just a couple plugs for Temple Run and Tiny Heroes and that's it. Gameplay-wise, One Epic Knight is simple and addictive. Although there's not many versions of the traps themselves, their configurations can lead to very interesting encounters. In my last run, a treasure room was immediately followed by an unexpected pit trap. The deception worked, and I found myself laughing at yet another demise.

This game is absolutely exceptional. OEK is one of my favorite mobile games of all time, the idea that one can run forevor is enthralling. I've racked up scores close to 30M+ before, but this game does have a few downsides. Inputs can sometimes be completely ignored, and while you're first starting off with nothing; you'll most likely die a lot to jumps that are possible to make. Developers please, I know it's been over 10 years, but OEK needs a sequel/revival, it will do so unbelievably well.

A fun little game. Doesn't deluge you with ads or pester you to spend money in a cosmetic shop. Only real complaint is that the visual signposting on some of the obstacles could be clearer. Sliding obstacles in particular tend to come out of nowhere and require very quick reactions. The obstacles that make it look like you have to jump but then smack you into a low ceiling are also annoying. Minor points of improvement aside, it's a fun game and I recommend it.
