Ratings and reviews

I have used this app for a while and have been satisfied. I have version 2.9706. there does not seem to have a newer version available. Lately, (I use it only every few weeks) , but every time I open it, it requires downloading some files. Why is this? Are there updates needed that frequently?

Excellent translator. I thought I lost it after not using it for over 2 years. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it worked like s charm. It was wonderful for our European holidays... Thanks

Keeps telling me the tranlation data is missing. Reinstalled twice same result. Hadn't used it for couple of years. Now maybe I can't use it. Very good last I needed it.
