I have had an issue with the reader that tells you how much money you have, and have used. We have had 2 replacement units and none of them have connected to the Internet. I have reported this problem and was promised another new unit. Been waiting months for it. No point in having a smart meter if you can't do what your supposed to do with it. Again we have had a new control box delivered. Again it isn't connecting with the smart meter for some reason.

I've had a few issues with utilita and will NEVER recommend them as energy suppliers to anyone. The app undergoes frequent maintenance making top ups and accurate balances unavailable, they keep you on hold for over an hour if you try to call them and the number isn't free either.. Gave me a shock when I opened my phone bill. The power up option is a joke as it never works when you need it due to "technical issues". I do not and would never recommend the app, or the company as an energy supplier

Had this app for years! Never had an issue at all, worked perfectly until now... Gas or electric running low, NO notifications whatsoever! So many times, gas or electric has gone off completely because I haven't received notifications. I've tried reinstalling the app, checked all settings, checked for updates, logged out and then back in again, and everything in between. Still nothing!
