Chama Manager is a tool designed to help the treasurer of a small financial club, or association (Chama in Swahili) to manage the funds of each member and of the group as a whole. The application is meant mainly to provide financial transparency to all the members of the group by tracking contributions and deductions as well as any projects undertaken.
The app provides numerous features including but not limited to:
- Calculating the fair share/split of costs as well as revenues based on each member’s contributions.
- Providing a voting platform where each member’s voting power is determined by their contributions/shares.
- Maintaining projects that are undertaken as a separate entity to allow for separate shares tracking.
