ZeroTier One for Android allows you to join ZeroTier virtual networks as VPN connections on your Android phone or tablet device.


ZeroTier creates peer to peer virtual Ethernet networks that work anywhere. It's used as a faster alternative to VPNs, to provide a seamless hybrid or multi-site/multi-provider cloud backplane, for remote collaboration and distributed teams, and for Internet of Things (IoT) applications to provide direct end-to-end connectivity to specialized devices.

Amazing and simple to use I still would like to go with a selfhosted VPN at some point. However zerotier just works and seems to treat customers far better than tailscale I may look at upgrading to a paid plan once my network need requires it. If you are new to self hosting or looking to host a gaming server with your friends this is about as easy as it gets! One issue is when switching internet connections i have to restart zerotier to connect to the internet again weird bug plz fix!

Some people are docking stars because of nitpicky interface issues. This app is simple, but the service is indispensable. I'm so pleased at how easy and reliable it is to have a secure way to access my home servers without opening any public ports. Sometimes I have to open the app and reconnect to the Zerotier network, but it's not hard.

The service itself is fantastic. I no longer have to expose my server' rdp port to the internet and its much easier than setting up a traditional vpn server. The Android App itself is OK. It works but it doesn't feel as stable as the windows counterpart. Its also been a while since the last update. Overall great service though. Cheers!
